The journey begins with a holy dip in the waters of the Ganges in Haridwar. It is a 19 km trek from Sonpryag to reach Kedarnath. Upon arrival at Delhi Airport/Railway Station, you will meet our representative who will welcome you and then drive you to Haridwar. After checking in at the hotel, join the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Har Ki Pauri in the evening. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel. Located in the foothills of Shivaliks, Haridwar is a sacred destination situated in Uttarakhand state, India. According to legend, it was here that Suryavanshi prince Bhagirath performed an intense penance to save his ancestors' souls from eternal damnation caused by sage Kapila's curse. As a result, Lord Shiva released River Ganga onto Earth through his locks and its holy waters revived the sixty thousand sons of King Sagara. Today, thousands of Hindu devotees flock to this place for a purifying dip in the Ganges River and seek salvation for their departed loved ones.
We will start our day a bit early in the morning and get ready to drive to Guptkashi. Along the way, we will stop for lunch before continuing our drive to Guptkashi. Upon arrival, we will check into our pre-booked hotel. The evening is free for visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple or taking a leisurely walk around the beautiful surroundings. Enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel in Guptkashi. GUPTAKASHI: Situated within the Mandakini river valley in the Northern Himalayan range, it is located at a height of 1,319 meters (4,330 ft). The place is blessed with a salubrious climate and one can witness stunning views of the snow-covered Chaukhamba peak during morning hours. Additionally, large magnolia trees locally named "Champa" can be seen in the valley known for their sweet scented smell.
In the morning, we will drive to Sonprayag and start our trek to Kedarnath. Upon reaching Kedarnath, we will check in at a hotel and later visit the Darshan of Kedarnath Ji. We will spend the night at the hotel. Positioned right amidst a wide, flat terrain, Kedarnath is an imposing sight that is enclosed by tall snow-covered mountains. Built by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century, the Kedarnath temple is located near the site of an earlier temple constructed by the Pandavas. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and one can witness a large statue of Nandi Bull standing outside as guard - a major highlight of the temple. Additionally, another notable feature of the temple are its interiors which portray scenes from mythology and figures of various deities.
This morning after visiting Kedarnath Ji, we trekked down to Sonprayag. We met our driver and drove towards Rudraprayag where we checked into a hotel for an overnight stay.
In the morning, we will drive to Badrinath and on our way, we will visit Shri Narshing Temple at Joshimath and Adi Shankracharya Math. Later, we will proceed to Sri Badrinath Ji where we will check in at a hotel. In the evening, we will visit Mana Village, Byas Gufa, Bheem Pul, Saraswati River and Ganesh Temple before attending the Aarti ceremony at Sri Badrinath Temple. We will then spend the night at the hotel. Badrinath, a holy town located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state in India, is famous for people visiting from across the nation to receive blessings from gods and goddesses. It is often referred to as the Char Dham pilgrimage site for Hindu devotees and attracts millions of visitors from around the world. The city's name comes from its globally renowned temple, Badrinath. TAPT KUND: This kund is famously known as the natural thermal springs situated on the banks of the river Alaknanda. It is mandatory for everyone to bathe here before entering the Badrinath temple. NARAD KUND: It is a recess in the river, near Tapt Kund, which forms a pool where the Badrinath idol was ideally recovered. MATA MURTY TEMPLE: This well-known temple is devoted to the mother of Sri Badrinathji. There are various globally acclaimed and famous temples such as Sesh Netra Temple, Urvashi Temple, and Charanpaduka. MANA VILLAGE: This temple is inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, also known as the last Indian village before Tibet. BHIM PUL: On one side of the very famous Mana village, there lies a massive rock forming a natural bridge over the roaring Saraswati River. It offers a spectacular and mesmerizing view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock. According to legend, it was placed by Bhim, who was the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers. VYAS GUFA (CAVE): Near the famous Mana Village, there is a rock-cave where it is believed that Ved Vyas wrote and composed the Mahabharata and other pauranic commentaries.
Our morning will begin early as we prepare to visit the renowned Badrinath Temple. After completing our darshan and offering prayers, we will continue on to Rudrapryag for an overnight stay. RUDRAPRAYAG: This place is known as the meeting point of two significant rivers, Mandakini and Alaknanda. TEMPLES: Rudranath and Chamunda Devi, as well as Koteshwar Temple (3 Kms).
In the morning, we will drive to Rishikesh and on our way, we will see Devprayag Sangam. After reaching Rishikesh, we will check into a hotel and in the evening, visit Laxman Jhoola. We will stay overnight at the hotel. Located 24 kilometers from Hardwar and nestled in the lower Himalayas, this place is surrounded by breathtaking views of hills and lush greenery. The holy Ganga river flows on three sides, making it a sacred destination for meditation and spiritual seekers looking to attain salvation. Along with its religious significance as a pilgrimage center, Rishikesh also holds great importance in Hindu mythology as it is closely linked to the epic Ramayana. Many temples and schools are situated here, some along the banks of the Ganges River. Additionally, Rishikesh is renowned for being home to various Yoga centers, ashrams, and institutes that attract people seeking spiritual growth. Last but not least, this city serves as an entry point to several important religious sites such as Badrinath, Kedarnath,Gangotri,and Yamunotri.
In the morning, we will drive to Delhi and upon reaching, transfer to the airport or railway station for our onward destination.
