Nestled in the Himalayas, Yamunotri is a quaint town with limited tourist attractions. However, its most significant and revered site is the Yamunotri Shrine, considered a holy pilgrimage spot for Hindus. The journey to this sacred place can be challenging as it involves trekking up the hill or utilizing services such as ponies, baskets, and palanquins from Hanuman Chatti to reach the top of the hill where the shrine is located. Despite its remote location and difficult terrain, many visitors make their way to Yamunotri every year to seek blessings at this spiritual destination.

Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar (230km / 6hrs)

Upon arrival at Delhi Railway Station, our team will meet and assist you before driving to Hardwar. Along the way, we will stop for a delicious lunch. Once we reach Hardwar, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri. Afterward, return to your hotel for dinner and for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02: Haridwar - Syanachatti (240kms / 7hr)

Start your day early and take a scenic drive to Syanachatti via Mussoorie. Along the way, you can make a detour to Lakhamandal (5km one-way), where an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva awaits. After paying your respects at the temple, continue on towards your final destination. Check into your hotel in Syana Chatti for some rest and relaxation.

Day 03: Syanachatti - Yamunotri - Syanachatti (12kms drive and 7 Kms trek each side)

Today, we will drive to Phool Chatti where the trek begins to Yamunotri. You can choose to walk, ride a horse or take a Doli at your own cost. Upon arrival in Yamunotri, you can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it into the hot water of the kund. Pilgrims often take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Near the temple, you can offer Pooja at Divya Shila before taking a bath in Jamunabai Kund's warm waters and having Darshan of pious Yamunaji. Afterward, return to Hanumanchatti and drive back to Syanachatti for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Syanachatti - Hardwar (240kms / 7hr)

Today, we will drive back to Haridwar. Upon reaching, we will check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 05: Haridwar - Delhi (230kms / 6hr)

Begin your day with a visit to Hardwar, where you can explore the city's famous sights. Afterwards, we will depart for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, we will drop you off at either the Railway Station or Airport according to your travel plans.
