Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

Upon your arrival in the vibrant city of Delhi, the capital of India, you will be greeted by our representative at the airport. You will then be escorted to your pre-booked hotel where our representative will assist with the check-in process and review your travel documents with you. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing

Day 03: Delhi - Mandawa (250 km / 5 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Mandawa, a charming town in the heart of Rajasthan's Shekhawati region. Known for its richly painted havelis, Mandawa is a gateway to the vibrant culture and art of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax. Later, embark on a sightseeing tour of Mandawa, a highlight of your Rajasthan Village Tour. Start with a visit to Mandawa Fort, a 240-year-old fortress that has been transformed by its owners into a fine example of traditional Rajasthani hospitality. Day 04: Mandawa - Bikaner - Gajner (220 km / 5 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive towards Gajner, a historic retreat once used as a hunting lodge by the former Maharajas and visiting British dignitaries during the British Raj. Under the reign of Maharaja Ganga Singhji, Gajner Palace was the site of lavish hunting expeditions and grand entertainment. On the way, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Bikaner. Visit the imposing Junagarh Fort, a magnificent fortress housing a museum that chronicles the history of Bikaner from its foundation in the 16th century. Continue to the Camel Breeding Farm, where you can learn about the care and breeding of camels, an integral part of Rajasthan’s culture. Next, visit Lalgarh Palace, built between 1902 and 1926, a blend of Mughal, Rajput, and European architectural styles. Day 05: Gajner - Khuri (280 km / 6 hrs)

Then, drive to Khuri, a charming rural village known for its stunning desert sand dunes. Khuri has gained popularity as a destination for experiencing the authentic desert life and the warm hospitality of Rajasthan. This small village is made up of traditional mud huts with thatched roofs, decorated with wall paintings, and surrounded by communal campfires. Upon arrival in Khuri, check into your pre-booked desert mud cottage or desert camp. Day 06: Khuri Tour

Day 07: Khuri - Luni (290 km / 6 hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Luni, a small village renowned for its stunning Fort Chanwa. This magnificent fort, crafted from red sandstone brought in from Jodhpur, features a series of courtyards, pavilions, intricate friezes, and beautifully carved latticed windows. Topped with a towering crest, the fort offers breathtaking views of the surrounding village and the vast Thar Desert. Fort Chanwa is particularly striking at night, with its grand entrance and protective walls standing proudly under the starry sky. Day 08: Luni - Jodhpur (35 km / 1 hr)

This morning, after breakfast, drive to the royal city of Jodhpur, located on the edge of the Thar Desert, a place steeped in the legends of ancient times. Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check into your hotel before setting off to explore the city. Begin with a visit to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, built in 1459 AD, which houses a collection of exquisite miniature paintings, royal chambers, and traditional attire. Next, visit Jaswant Thada, a beautiful white marble cenotaph built in 1899 by Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, offering a serene and picturesque setting. Continue to the Umaid Bhawan Palace, an architectural marvel that is still home to the former royal family of Jodhpur. Part of this grand palace has been converted into a luxurious heritage hotel, while another section serves as a museum showcasing a remarkable collection of weapons, royal garments, and portraits of the royal family. Day 09: Jodhpur - Narlai - Ranakpur (190 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive towards Ranakpur, renowned for its magnificent Jain temples. This impressive temple complex, made of marble, is one of the largest and most important Jain pilgrimage sites in India. The Ranakpur Temple is famous for its 29 halls supported by 1,444 intricately carved pillars, with no two pillars alike. On the way, stop at the village of Narlai, a unique destination where you can explore the grandeur of Rawla Narlai, an ancient fortress in southern Rajasthan that has been transformed into a premium heritage hotel. Day 10: Ranakpur - Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur (98 km / 2 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Udaipur, often called the "City of Lakes," renowned for its scenic beauty. On the way, stop to explore Kumbhalgarh Fort, perched atop the Aravalli Mountain Range. This fort is famous for its massive walls and has remained impregnable due to its strategic location. Continue your journey to Udaipur. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace, located on the eastern shore of Lake Pichola. Day 11: Udaipur to Bijaipur via Chittorgarh (145 km / 3 hrs)

After a hearty breakfast, continue your journey to Bijaipur, with a stop en route at Chittorgarh, a city steeped in tales of valor and romance central to Rajput history. Begin your visit with Chittorgarh Fort, an imposing fortress known for its expansive size and historical significance. The fort is accessed through seven gates, with the main entrance being Ram Pol, and the most notable gate being Suraj Pol, or the Sun Gate. Legend has it that Bhima, one of the Pandava brothers from the Mahabharata, initiated the construction of this fort. After exploring the historic Chittorgarh Fort, drive towards Bijaipur. Upon arrival in Bundi, begin your exploration with a visit to Taragarh Fort, a stunning example of Rajput architecture, renowned for its impressive construction and beautiful Bundi frescoes. Continue to Chatrasagar, a captivating viewing gallery adorned with intricate, multicolored artwork depicting scenes from 'Ragamala' and 'Raaslila,' which illustrate the stories of Lord Radha Krishna.
