Proceed towards Agra to witness the Taj Mahal in all its glory and then lose yourself in the royal splendor of Jaipur with visits to Amber Fort and City Palace. Post exploration of the Golden Triangle, the tour heads to the calm and serene towns of Haridwar and Rishikesh. Witness the soul-stirring Ganga Aarti on the ghats at Haridwar, and learn tranquility in Rishikesh-the world’s yoga capital, where positive vibrations and nature serve as the perfect backdrop for contemplation and healing. On landing at the Delhi airport, you will be met by our executive holding a placard with your name on it and taken to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
After breakfast, you will go for the sightseeing tour of Delhi. Today you will visit Jama Masjid-the nation's largest mosque, visit Chandni Chowk and spice market & enjoy a Rickshaw Ride through Chandni Chowk, then visit the elegant but imposing Red Fort, Raj Ghat-a memorial for Ghandi, Humayun's tomb-the finest example of Mughal architecture in Delhi, Lotus temple of the Baha'i faith, workmanship of Qutub Minar from mediaeval times, The Parliament House, The President House, and India Gate. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Morning will see you having breakfast, and your transfer will be done to Mughal city Agra. Agra is one of the major destinations for tourists in North India with several Mughal-era buildings, most prominently the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri, all three being UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. After freshening up, enjoy seeing the magnificent Taj Mahal-the great monument of love erected by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal Remains Closed on Every Friday) Onward visit the Agra fort founded by the great Emperor Akbar, and the Tomb of Etimad-ud-Daula, often called Jewel Box or Baby Taj and regarded as a draft of Taj Mahal. Rest of the day will be free leisure for you. Overnight at the hotel in Agra.
Early morning sunrise is the best time to go (optional) for the second visit to Taj Mahal. Have breakfast after returning to the hotel from the Taj Mahal. Get transferred to the Pink City Jaipur after breakfast, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by Mughal Emperor Akbar.
After breakfast this morning, head for the Amber fort, located amongst Aravali Hills and built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh. Experience an optional elephant ride at Amber fort for an extra charge if you want. Then see Jal Mahal or Water Palace and Hawa Mahal-a Palace of Winds-it is the most famous monument in Jaipur. Post lunch, visit the City Palace and Museum, City Palace, designed and conceived by Jai Singh, is a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal styles and one of the most critical architectural landmarks in Jaipur. From here, you will walk to Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory, which is next door. The remainder of the afternoon is left to your leisure for rest or shopping. You can visit the local markets for window shopping. Jaipur is famous for Handicrafts and Gold & Diamond Jewellery. By evening, you will be transferred back to Delhi, and accommodation will be at a hotel in Delhi.
Early in the morning post breakfast it is a transfer to the holy city of Haridwar. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Have a view of grand Ganga Aarti in the evening at Har Ki Pauri. The Ganga Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri in Haridwar is celebrated among one of the prominent rituals in India. This Aarti begins at 6 p.m. Post-sunset, hundreds of people throng both banks of that canal which carries the waters of Ganges when the priests with three-tier diyas and fire bowls in their hands start uttering the mantras for Ganga. Pretty much at the same time, the temple bells at the ghat begin chiming, which adds on to the enchantment of the occasion. The people light ripples to float on the river in their honor. One can also visit the local market of Bara Bazar, which ranks as the primary marketplace of the city in vibrant colors. The traditional Bazar, which twists through narrow lanes, is full of shops selling religious paraphernalia such as Rudraksha seeds, ayurvedic products and medicines, handmade items, and ornaments. Overnight stay at Haridwar Hotel.
On this early morning, you can visit Har Ki Pauri once again for morning prayer, and you may keep engaging in an auspicious bath in the River Ganges. Post-breakfast; visit Maya Devi Temple, Daksh Prajapati Temple, Anandamayee Ashram, Parad (Mercury) Shivling at Kankhal Region, Bharat Mata Mandir, etc. Also, hill-top temples to visit will include Chandi Devi and Mansa Devi. A ropeway ride can be handy to avoid walking and to get the city view as you sit in there; both temples are situated opposite each other and relate to Siddh Peetha. By noon, you will be taken to Rishikesh, an old land renowned for its Ashrams and awe-inspiring views of Ganges. Check-in to hotel on arrival. An afternoon will visit Laxman Jhula (closed for walking), Ram Jhoola, and Neer Gaddu waterfall. Visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram - Ashram is a true spiritual haven on the holy banks of Mother Ganga nestled in the lap of lush Himalayas. In the evening, experience Ganga Aarti at Triveni ghat, the most foremost and important sight being the sight of the Ganga river flowing along with hundreds of people praying together with bells ringing everywhere, that whole scenario will mesmerize one for sure. Return back to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Rishikesh.
This morning you woke up early to see the mesmerizing sun rays fall on the river water. You can also have a small walking tour of the City of Yoga. It will be a light one-hour drive. Enjoy pretty green valley and get a wonderful view of the River Ganga. Return back to the hotel. Another thing after breakfast, you will be transferred back to Delhi International Airport for your onward journey.
