Leave early in the morning from Delhi to cover a distance of around 150 kilometers (around three hours) to Mathura for your two-day excursion. Visit some of the must-see places for the believers such as Dwarkadhish Temple and the Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, which is said to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Drive a distance of 15 kilometers to the outskirt of Mathura to reach the famous Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan, which is known for its unique architecture and oriental interiors. Then off to the ISKCON Temple, which is another main attraction in Vrindavan. Here, feel free to get the evening experience on a boat with Aarti of the Yamuna River. An overnight stay in Mathura or Vrindavan.
So get up in the morning and set off for Agra from Mathura, which is around 55 km away and can be reached by road in just 1.5 hours. Visit the Taj Mahal, famed worldwide and often recognized as one of the seven wonders in the world. Then visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, noted for its incredible architecture and detailed history. Visit it next to Itmad-ud-Daula, known as the Baby Taj, and admire its splendor. This evening, head to the Mehtab Bagh for an enchanting view of the sunset on the Taj Mahal. After that from here returns to Delhi, which is around 230 km and will take about 4 hours from Agra.
