Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Delhi

Welcome to India When you arrive in New Delhi, our tour guide will greet you and take you to your hotel. After you check in comfortably, you will have some leisure time to get used to your new surroundings and time zone. Overnight in Delhi

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing Trip

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Old Delhi. You will see India’s largest mosque, Jama Masjid, and the famous Chandni Chowk market. On your way to New Delhi, you will also visit the impressive Red Fort. In New Delhi, you will visit Qutub Minar, the tallest stone tower in India. You will also see the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Raj Ghat, along with India Gate, Parliament House, President's House, the Government Secretariat Building, and Laxmi Narayan Temple. Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and board a flight to Jaipur. During the journey, you will stop for refreshments and photo opportunities. Once you arrive in Jaipur, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax on your own. Overnight stay in Jaipur

Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Jaipur. First, visit Amber Fort, located 11 km from the city. You may also enjoy an elephant ride here. Later, explore other attractions in the city such as the City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar Observatory, and Hawa Mahal. You will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

After breakfast, drive to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital of Mughal ruler Akbar, which was abandoned due to a water shortage after just a few years. Inside the fort, there are a few interesting palaces. Afterward, continue your drive to Agra, the "City of Taj Mahal." Once you arrive, you will transfer to your hotel and stay overnight.

Day 06: Sightseeing Tour of Agra

Start your day by visiting the famous Taj Mahal at sunrise, the symbol of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Next, you will visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site built by the great Emperor Akbar. The fort has existed since the 11th century. The Mughals expanded it and it contains several buildings like the Hall of Public Audience and many gates, with the Delhi Gate and Lahore Gate being the most famous. After sightseeing, you will go shopping in the evening to pick up handicrafts and arts from the market of Agra. Return to your hotel in Agra to relax and stay overnight.

Day 07: Agra to Lucknow

Tour guests will arrive at Lucknow Airport as per their scheduled flights. Upon arrival, they will meet the Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to the hotel. In the evening, we will visit Ambedkar Park, a public park and memorial. Next, we will drive along the marine drive of Lucknow. After that, we will have a short Meet & Greet session.

Day 08: Lucknow

Today, we will explore this land of Nawabs. We will visit Rumi Darwaja, an example of Awadhi architecture, and the Clock Tower, India’s largest clock tower. Next, we will see Chota Imambara, one of the most beautiful buildings in the old city, and Bada Imambara, known for its incredible maze called Bhul Bhulaiya. We will also pass by the British Residency, an important site from the Siege of Lucknow in 1857, where the ruins can still be seen. We will also drive past Jama Masjid, an important religious center in Lucknow, and Chattar Manzil, also known as the Umbrella Palace, which still retains its old-world charm and now houses the office of the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI).

Day 09: Lucknow – Ayodhya

Today, we will head to Ayodhya, a popular pilgrimage center closely associated with Lord Rama. Upon arrival, we will visit Hanuman Garhi, a 10th-century temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Next, we will see Dashrath Mahal, the original residence of King Dashrath, the father of Lord Sri Ram. We will also visit Ram Janmabhumi, the birthplace of Lord Ram, and Kanak Bhavan, which is believed to have been gifted to Devi Sita by Kaikei soon after her marriage. In the evening, we will stroll around Ram ki Paidi for some great photos and visit Treta ke Thakur, where Lord Ram held the Ashwamedha Yagya. We will also witness a beautiful evening aarti at Saryu Ghat.

Day 10: Ayodhya – Prayagraj

Today, we will proceed to Prayagraj, a beautiful city at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati Rivers. Upon arrival, we will visit Anand Bhavan, the former residence of the Nehru family, which is now a museum showcasing various artifacts from the Independence movement in India. Next, we will see Allahabad Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1583. The fort stands on the banks of the Yamuna, near the confluence with the Ganges, and is the largest fort built by Akbar. We will also visit Laying Hanuman Temple, which has a huge image of Lord Hanuman in a lying position. In the evening, we will enjoy a boat ride at Triveni Sangam, weather permitting.

Day 11: Prayagraj – Varanasi

Today, we will head to Varanasi, stopping along the way at Sitamarhi, where Sita went into the earth. Upon arrival in Varanasi, we will take a boat ride at Dashashwamedh Ghat and witness the Ganga Aarti, weather permitting.

Day 12: Varanasi

Today, we will visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, and Bharat Mata Temple, which displays a map of undivided India. We will also see Banaras Hindu University, formerly Central Hindu College and now a public central university, Sankat Mochan Mandir, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Birla Mandir, built by the Birla Group of Industries, and Tulsi Manas Temple, which holds great historical and cultural significance in Hinduism. Finally, we will visit Kaal Bhairav Temple, one of the oldest Shiva temples in Varanasi. In the evening, we will enjoy a rickshaw ride and have free time for shopping.

Day 13: Varanasi – Delhi Departure

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will head to Delhi. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off at your departure location, which can be either a railway station or the airport.
