Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Delhi

When you arrive at Delhi airport, our representative will meet you with a sign showing your name. They will pick you up and take you to the hotel. You can spend the rest of the day as you wish. You will stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 02 Delhi City Tour

After breakfast this morning, you will start your sightseeing tour of Delhi. Today, you will visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in the country. You will explore Chandni Chowk and the spice market, and enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk. Next, you will see the impressive Red Fort, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat, and Humayun’s Tomb, which is Delhi’s best example of Mughal architecture. You will also visit the famous Lotus Temple of the Baha’i faith, the medieval craftsmanship of Qutub Minar, the Parliament House, the President's House, and India Gate. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy. You will stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 03 Delhi to Agra

This morning, after breakfast, you will be taken to Agra, a city known for its Mughal history. Agra is a key tourist spot in North India, featuring many Mughal-era buildings, especially the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri, which are all UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. After freshening up, you will visit the famous Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in honor of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. (The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.) Later, you will explore the Agra Fort, constructed by Emperor Akbar, and the tomb of Etimad-ud-Daula, often called the Jewel Box or the Baby Taj, seen as a draft of the Taj Mahal. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.

Day 04 Visit Taj Mahal at Sunrise - Jaipur

This early morning, you can visit the Taj Mahal again (this visit is optional). After this, return to your hotel to freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast, you will head to Jaipur, the Pink City. Along the way, you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted red sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar, and visit Chand Baori, a stepwell in Abhaneri village. Chand Baori features 3,500 narrow steps across 13 stories and extends about 30 meters (100 feet) into the ground, making it one of the deepest and largest stepwells in India. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 05 Jaipur City Tour

This morning, after breakfast, you will visit the Amber Fort, nestled among the Aravali Hills and built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh. You can choose to enjoy an optional elephant ride at the Amber Fort for an additional charge. Next, you will visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace) and Hawa Mahal, known as the Palace of Winds and the most famous monument in Jaipur. In the afternoon, you will explore the City Palace and Museum. Designed by Jai Singh, the City Palace mixes Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and ranks among Jaipur's notable landmarks. After that, walk to the nearby Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory. The rest of the day is free for relaxation or shopping. You can explore the local markets for window shopping. Jaipur is well-known for handicrafts and gold and diamond jewelry. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 06 Jaipur to Delhi & Flight to Cochin

This morning, after breakfast, you can visit the Birla Temple and the famous Monkey Temple (Galta Ji). Later, you will head back to Delhi airport to catch your flight to Cochin. Flight No. UK-885 departs from Delhi at 15:40 hrs and arrives in Cochin at 18:50 hrs. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to enjoy. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.

Day 07 Cochin Sightseeing Tour

This morning after breakfast, you will go on a city tour of Cochin. Your sightseeing will include Fort Kochi beach, the Chinese Fishing Nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), and the Jewish Synagogue. You can also visit Jew Town, the Kerala Folklore Museum, and the Hill Palace Museum. Walking along Fort Kochi beach, especially at sunset with the Chinese fishing nets and sailing ships in the background, is a memorable experience. European-style bungalows line the shore. The Chinese fishing nets here are unique to India. The Dutch Palace was initially built by the Portuguese and modified by the Dutch in the 17th century. It has hosted the coronation of many Kings of Kochi and contains beautiful mural paintings from the Hindu epics, Mahabharata and Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue, built in 1568, features stunning Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers, with giant scrolls of the Old Testament on display. It is located near the Dutch Palace. The rest of the day is free for shopping or other activities. Visit M.G. Road for spices, clothing, sculptures, and jewelry, and Marine Drive, a popular hangout spot in Kochi. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.

Day 08 Cochin to Munnar

This morning, after breakfast, you will travel to Munnar. On the way, you will stop at Cheeyappara waterfalls. Cheeyappara is one of Kerala's most beautiful waterfalls. Watching the water cascade down the seven steps of this waterfall is a breathtaking experience. Munnar is a perfect tourist spot in Kerala, known as God's own country. It ranks among the best hill stations in Kerala. It is a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the late afternoon, you can visit the Tea Museum and the Tea Gardens. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 09 Munnar Sightseeing

This morning, after breakfast, you will explore Munnar. Munnar is a premier hill station in Kerala, located 1600 meters above sea level. This stunning hill station is surrounded by gently rolling hills covered in lush green tea plantations. Some of the world's highest tea gardens are found in Munnar. The misty hills lined with tea plants resemble velvet lawns on the gentle slopes. Today, you can visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Blossom Park, Pothamedu View Point, Attukad Waterfalls, Lakkam Waterfalls, Eravikulam National Park, Anamudi View Point, and Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy. Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 10 Munnar to Periyar (Thekkady)

This morning, after breakfast, you will travel to Thekkady, famous for its spice plantations and the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, which spans 780 square kilometers, with 360 square kilometers of dense evergreen forest. This sanctuary was designated a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Abraham's Spice Garden, a unique privately run spice garden and one of the best places to see in Thekkady. Spread over two acres, the garden offers an interactive tour that explains the cultivation and processing of various spices. You will find a wide variety of plants, including banana, cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, cloves, vanilla, ginger, and turmeric. This place truly delights botany enthusiasts. Later, visit Elephant Junction, one of the most vibrant spots in Thekkady, rich in flora and fauna. You can see wildlife such as elephants, Indian bison, and Nilgiri Tahrs. The junction also showcases Kerala's tribal culture. Take a walk through the deep woods and immerse yourself in nature. Interact with wild elephants while you bathe and feed them. Experience the rich aroma from the cardamom plantations. You may also visit the Kadathanadan Kalari Center to enjoy Kalaripayattu martial arts, Kerala's traditional self-defense practice. Day 11 Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary & Transfer to Kumarakom

This morning, after breakfast, you will visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, which spans 780 square kilometers, with 360 square kilometers of dense evergreen forest. Declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978, this sanctuary is known for its varied wildlife and scenic beauty, attracting visitors from around the world. The artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam along the Periyar River adds to the park's allure. Explore the Periyar Tiger Reserve in a unique way by taking a boat ride on Periyar Lake. This ride offers a chance to see the jungle's beauty in a refreshing manner. The tranquil waters of the lake help you relax. The boat ride allows you to spot rare bird species, like the Malabar Grey Hornbill and the Nilgiri Wood Pigeon. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can see wildlife up close and safely from a boat. The main attraction at Periyar is the herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Kumarakom, an enchanting backwater destination on the southern coast of India. Kumarakom enjoys a pleasant tropical climate and ranks as one of the top ten destinations in India for tourism. The village consists of a cluster of small islands on Vembanad Lake. Upon arrival, check in to your resort. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise. Overnight stay at the resort in Kumarakom.

Day 12 Kumarakom to Alleppey

Today, wake up early in the morning for a spectacular start to your day. The sun rises and casts its light across the river to greet you. After an early breakfast, visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. It is one of those rare places where you can go bird-watching throughout your visit. The sanctuary hours are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It is an exceptional spot in India that appeals to bird watchers. Set across 14 hectares of lush greenery, the sanctuary is home to many rare and remarkable seasonal birds. The best time to visit is between November and March when migratory birds from Siberia come for winter. Some of the species include Siberian Crane, Night Herons, Pelicans, Parrots, Larks, Flycatchers, Wood Beetles, and Golden-backed Woodpeckers. Occasionally, you might see native kingfishers dazzling the waters. The night herons and golden-backed woodpeckers are additional highlights. In the fourteen-acre sanctuary, you can spot many rare birds, some of which may sadly not be around forever. After your visit, return to your hotel. After freshening up, you will be transferred to Alleppey. Kumarakom to Alleppey & Enjoy Backwater Cruise in a Houseboat This morning, you will head to Alleppey, often called the "Venice of the East." You will check in to a traditional houseboat for a backwater cruise, which will be a unique experience. No tourist can leave Alappuzha without cruising the backwaters in a traditional houseboat. The houseboats come equipped with a well-furnished bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. A driver and a cook are on board. On the houseboat, you can observe local life and enjoy bird watching. Have dinner onboard and stay overnight in the houseboat.

Day 13 Alleppey to Cochin Drop

This morning, after breakfast, check out from the houseboat. You will be transferred to Cochin Airport for your onward flight.
